I started making a rough outline of my book, just to start trying to place some things and get a feel for what it might look like. This is the start of my extra-illustration page.
look at other catalogues (of art, of library collections). are there other ways of presenting information and analysis than the narrative paragraphs you show? why so small a reproduction, facing so empty a page? where is the caption to this particular example (giving dimensions, location, other specifics)? could you "group" the different genres in some ways?
what about your examples of December 6th? what led to your decision to go this way?
